Dear Nanotrasen,
Why does the nuke disc regenerate when someone destroys it? More importantly, why has this technology not been deployed more broadly?

Get a goliath to follow you for !fun!, security can't even kill it because of the goliath's snowflake laser protection.

That actually sounds sweet.Stephie wrote:Agents should have 5TC at round start, receive 5 more for getting their target and 5 more for getting their assassin.Ikarrus wrote:Reduce the number of telecrystals double agents get to 5.
Have them actually be creative instead of spawning shitloads of bombs and weapons.

Re: Little things you learned that are game changing
If Ian (or any other corgi) is revived via Lazarus Injector, upon seeing another corgi it looks in the code like he would run up and nuzzle the shit out of it.
(Lazarus injectors set the spawned mob to attack others of the same type, and the corgi attack is overridden by nuzzling)

It could be leveraged to make better use of gibtonite, as the corpses protect you from explosions.Psyentific wrote:Question - If Goliaths exist almost soley on the mining asteroid, what's the point beyond novelty?

Rock: It won't attack you, and you can pull it around.
HG: I considered it, but this adds a bit more risk since you have to close to melee range with the carp. At present time, it adds the player to the carp's list of friends.

Carp Befriending Stick
I coded this while bored. It is a melee weapon that is created in R&D and requires Caroptoxin to create, as it is saturated by carp pheromones. On striking a carp, the carp becomes your friend. At present it uses the classic baton sprite, but if someone creates a good alternate sprite I'll use t...

Goliath Corpse Nestling (SPRITE NEEDED)
I have recently coded, and am now testing, a feature that allows you to cut open the corpse of a goliath with a pickaxe or esword, then nestle inside it's warm guts, which will protect you from lasers and explosions. I need a sprite for the cut-open dead goliath, and a poll for yes/no. And yes, it w...

Deus Ex Human Revolution
Just picked up Human Revolution on Steam. Enjoyed it, up to the first boss fight against a middle aged man who is apparently made completely out of depleted uranium and can instantaneously grab anything within a yard of him, yet has the vision of a myopic fruitbat wearing dark glasses and moves at t...
