Bottom post of the previous page:

BLAME ARAN WE'VE TRIED TO GET GLOVES ONTO OFFICERS 5 BILLION TIMES

I'd like it if neinhaus continued with these sprites, as in making a version for warden and HoS. HoS always has his cool inquisitor formal clothes but a formal shirt and tie for him would be neat.

Is that the default armour? I forgot what it actually looked like.

We're deciding between red and black pants. Note that really only the armband and pants show up when fully armored. Nicecurity could go sans-armor and look professional with their tie if they wanted. I dunno, still in the deciding phase here, but I like white formal shirts over jumpsuits, and the old blue formals looked kind of tacky.

Ignore the armband on the west facing sprite, I fixed it.

Unrelated but I would like it if the visor on the helmet was transparent instead of opaque blue. The old sec helmets were neat because you could still wear them without looking like a faceless goon.

I might do that when it comes around to doing all the sprites.

On this topic of helmet visors, I hate the visor on sec helmets in general. They just look silly in general, especially because sec has 2 different pieces of equipment that cover their eyes outside of the visor (SecHUD shades and the Security Gasmask).

Yeah I don't have a visor on the syndicate blood-red helmet for that purpose (syndie mask and NVGs)

The armor needs to be looked at eventually and it will come during a more professional redesign of sec

The visor is iconic. You can't remove it.

I prefer the visor to be honest. I also like the current Sec Armour+Helm style.

As I said, the new jumpsuit/suit/whatever design does look interesting with the Sec Armour. I look forward to seeing any further designs.

But the nuke op helmet's are damn awful without visors. They're literally bicycle helmets, they look really dorky.

I prefer red jumpsuits, mkes them stand out more, and I've never had issues confusing sec for ops. If you do go for new uniforms though, black pants.

How about we do something completely different and go for Whitecurrity?

All sprites currently in game, just needs a padded cod piece.

Its a reference to a certain movie.

That sprite would better suit a gang than Security. Now if only the gang mode was finished.

Thats the classic baton sprite, although it looks like he just went fishing in the bog...

The warden's outfit feels awkward. With the armor on he looks off and without the armor he's in his underwear. There's no winning.

Changing them to blue would be a bit weird though. Red just seems to fit.
Security has a blue variant, you get them from cargo. Though we should switch sec to black or gray.

I prefer the old uniform. Much more distinctive. The white one won't pop out of a crowd like the current one does.

Why don't we make them grey, and flip the greytide on it's head?

Yeah I honestly think red is fine, we can maybe make black jumpsuits as alt uniforms with red armbands for wardy/hos/officers in their lockers.

Can we get some different sec mask sprites, I added them to be somewhat comical - not make you look like a literal faceless goon

There's a feature freeze right now but I wanted to make them look like rebreathers rather than combine soldier masks

Sprite changes are ok to add during the freeze. It's really a code freeze more than anything.
