My side of the story: I was seeing family, and decided to introduce my cousin to ss13. While we were playing the game we were in the same room together, so we were technically 'communicating in the meta.' He must have said something to get an admin's attention and then mentioned that we were communicating outside of ingame chat, because soon we were both banned for 'Metacomms.'
Why I think I should be unbanned: Neither of us communicated any sensitive data about the round to each other outside of the ingame chat. We only talked to each other about miscellaneous things going on in game, or telling him or myself to go to 'X' location. Even so, I apologise for the misconduct.

Oh, ok. Well I am quite sorry for violating the rules, and by doing so giving myself an unfair advantage over other players. I can honestly say that I won't do it again, because what fun is a game if the people playing cheat? And just out of curiosity, is this ban pera if I don't get it resolved?

Bans are almost never truly permanent. If Aranclanos doesn't want to lift it, you can always come back months later and try again.
