Re: bro why is tg rotting so fucking hard
High levels of drama this year burned people out methinks. Usually this is the low point of the year and winter gets the numbers to pick up again, so we're probably going to see some form of recovery soon. Unless something big and dumb hits.

Re: Silicon Skill Solution nut
Those rules don't contradict anything I said at all. It's just ranking various threats, it's not a rule banning borgs from doing anything but responding immediately to any harm they witness. Note where it says "can be" and not "must be", responding to human harm is an option for ...

I guess I would need to see how that is not inaction in the face of human harm. In my experience you are supposed to prevent the harm until the victim is dead or you are killed/disabled. If a ship sank offshore I would not want robotic self driving cars to attempt to rescue the drowning people. I w...

Secret was better. Preferred having a themed set of antags to the dynamic mix. 4 lings and a heretic one round, then a 3 tot 2 blood bro pair one the following one to really keep you on your toes. Really adds to the fun when the round starts spiralling in a different direction from the very start, e...

Can we have an ingame indicator for when population is high or not? If it affects how the player is expected to act within the rules it should be visible. You cannot seriously think it's acceptible moderation to have two sets of rules for two different situations, and not inform players which rulese...

35+ is fairly arbitrary and a little high for what I'd call lowpop. After around 20 active players there's usually enough manpower to keep the station running relatively smoothly. 25-40 I'd call midpop personally.

It's not that they're exploring space, it's that they aren't expending a lot of resources doing so. Humanoid players have to correct o2, pressure, temperature, and expend food and medicine, and they need power for their spacesuits. Wheras silicons just need power and a lot less of it. Silicons' powe...

Miner borg would suffer a bit when mining in space (less than you'd expect because mining borgs use a lot more active power than passive), but mining stations should have pylons in them to make their z levels count as station property. Lavaland base is owned by the station and that's enough for it t...

Limit borgs and AI to station
Borgs have gotten more freedom lately both in code and in policy and I think they need some hard limits to reign them in. These are nerfs which are never going to be particularly popular but silicons are defined by what they cannot do more than what they can, and codewise they've lost their reliance...

All the lethal ballistic options got removed is what. Also shotgun darts got nerfed. Also you need to manually load it with rubber shot so it works as intended. That's what happened to it. The laser shells are actually better than buckshot but that's a lot of effort and luck (ie praying sci, eng and...

Two old techniques for extracting valuable metals out of coins, without impacting their use as currency.
