Re: Idea: welders melt freon ice

Just allow people to walk over iced tiles without slipping. It does work with water after all, which may or may not be as slippery as freonized ice. Either way, I found it to be far less of a hazard that way.

Re: Sigma Station

I'd second the suggestion to not finalize areas by doing their atmos/wiring/machines when you haven't mapped out the entire layout. If any area layout ends up being unsatisfactory in your opinion, you'll have to redo all the things you mapped in it which will cost you a lot of time.

Re: ITT: We make shitty suggestions and come up with poor id

I did not intent my post to be bait. I genuinely believe that people are too upset when they die to the environment. Player induced dangers, like guns, melee weapons and explosives are so strong and deadly on the flipside. A single stun is usually enough to kill and/or arrest. Maybe I'm unreasonable...

Trash piles. Make certain items clump together into piles that are annoying to sift through. Piles slow movement and if they get too high they even block movement. Very high piles might even collapse some of their contents onto adjacent turfs, "spreading" the trash outwards. You could buil...
