Advice to anyone thinking about redesigning power: don't forget about power cells and cell chargers. The cells need to charge quick enough to be useful without instantly draining the APC, whose cells are usually smaller than T2. Currently this is achieved in a very hacky way.

It was also the only chain of command that officially acknowledged the HoP as the second in command. OmegaStation did the same, renaming the role to "Lieutenant". We don't have any lowpop maps anymore because our map rotation system doesn't switch away from them fast enough if server pop ...

Several other servers have experimented with randomization and it is definitely technically feasible especially with our map template system.

However, I am not at all a fan of the grid-station design. It seems like it would be boring to play on this map.

You might want to fiddle with your sleep mode settings, it's possible to set it up so sleep mode survives power outages (hybrid sleep/hibernate or just straight hibernate).

By default, the world pauses if nobody is logged in. This means if you can leave DreamDaemon running then you can 'save' that way. You could put your server machine in sleep mode instead of shutting it down, if that is the problem. It would be very complicated to configure, but you could run DreamDa...
