Re: Good Things To Port

I don't think paracoders ever finished that, so I don't think it's done. It's done, it just needed to wait until the code was updated to function with the 510 branch. It's currently waiting for one of the maintainers to merge it. Here's the new PR. EDIT: It might end up getting closed by the mainta...

How to security:
Place prisoner in the brig for fifteen minutes. Every time.
Go into another room for ten minutes.
Come back out.
You now have your own warzone where you can start racking up kills!

Re: DIRTSTATION 2015

Roundstart messes are ridiculous now. I wish their volume scaled by server population. In slower rounds, when there will be less bloodstains for a janitor to clean up, a lot of roundstart messes would give him something to do. But in higher population rounds, with a lot of deaths, the extra mess is...

Re: DIRTSTATION 2015

It depends on how you think about gameplay. It definitely harms janitor gameplay and removes a lot of incentive to try, so in that sense it is bad. Gameplay isn't all about conflict and combat, dirt is in fact a part of gameplay to a certain degree for most jobs and defines gameplay for one. I stil...

Re: Should lizards be considered human for the AI and borgs?

There are pros and cons for everything.
You could say this is a con for lizards.
That said...
I have suggested before that we use the crewsimov lawset, which replaces 'humans' with 'crew'.
Nuke Ops and wizards could be targeted by the AI, lethally, however...

Re: DIRTSTATION 2015

Personally, it doesn't make a huge difference in gameplay to me. I log in and see everything normal as it usually is. Even if I play as a janitor, I probably wouldn't have a huge problem with it, the station is just never going to be 100% clean. Even before this update.

Re: Security Sprites: 2015 Edition

The one thing I don't like is the beret: it looks silly with a bunch of hairstyles, it doesn't have head protection like a helmet (so, for example, the chaplain can't heal you as safely) and I don't think it manages to look terribly smart either. This, why did we change how the beret looks on someb...

Reading WGW over the intercom has always been an IC issue with the IC consequence that anyone can kill you. I think you need to lurk more, Saegrimr. Whoops! Like many things I get blamed for enforcing. Once again I was not the one to suggest OOC action being taken against it. http://i.imgur.com/xzU...
