Re: Fortifying departments w/o provication
What are peoples opinions on replacing the ORM with a window? You occasionally see cargo departments do that, because everyone knows it's only existed as a free beeline to the autolathe/cargo lathe ever since they added the ore silo (screwdriver + wrench lets you instantly bypass cargos front doors...

As long as “Sometimes I want to make engineering Fort Knox because it’s cool” is a valid reason then I think it’s fine. If people are fortifying roundstart once in a while just to test their building skills or whatever we should let them do that. I don't think I'd balk too much at this tbh, as long...

I really don't like the idea of us using prisoner as an "overflow slot" job. It's not there for people to have a job slot for when they don't want to do a job or can't get their preferred one, it's there for RP purposes.

I do agree with the premise that you are basically never going to RP with a dragon, but I think the occasional unambiguous threat showing up is fine I feel like the lack of direct RP is made up for by how big of a threat it is and how people will be distracted handling it. It's not that the dragon ...

Could we disable sentient disease on mrp instead? I've been tempted to just wholesale remove it. It sucks, it's extremely binary (you either get cucked early on by masks or ruin the round for a large chunk of the station) and there's zero actual meaningful interaction between the disease and crew.

My only requirements for an antag token policy would be:
1) They are never guaranteed, only ever a potential and are completely up to the admin in question.
2) Admins are permitted and encouraged to give them out as rewards for very special events but should do so sparingly.

I do think the currently-proposed alternative of just disabling at-will map votes is the better play here. The only reason I would support some form of voting ban would be to deal with people abusing restart votes, but that hasn't been an issue recently as far as I can tell.
