This should get better next term, current headmins are all busy or burned out. We lost a key holder when Shadowlight got deadminned as well.

MSO is also slowly trialing giving remote to all maintainers.

Easier than redoing the game to have an end goal in mind though would be to add some way for security/heads to leave the station early and count as their character surviving and reopen the slot so they can be replaced so they can quit without forcing the entire server to

They still work on lavaland, just not in tiny dumb boxes at the edge of space that require metagaming+a jetpack (of which only a handful spawn) to deal with.

Those suggestions sound like it'd almost make them tolerable though.

Thunder could have handled it better and hopefully will in the future but I'm not gonna punish them over being ham handed as long as they learn to tone it down in the future. Pulse weapons and energy weapon immunity aren't fun to play against, use something better (or just skip the timer) next time....
