Re: Detoxify dispensers, manifest mutagen

I'd add more beneficial plants. Right now you have many deadly plants, a ton of cooking ingredients and maybe 5 with healing or useful properties.

Of course people are gonna grow xXVALIDHUNTER420Xx lemons if the alternatives are underwhelming or boring.

Does all alcohol help with surgery or is that just misinformation?
I only see ethanol, sterilizine and miner's salve having this:
Code: Select all
S.success_multiplier = max(0.1*power_multiplier, S.success_multiplier)

Edit: All alcoholic drinks contain ethanol, disregard that

Good list, your post saved me a bunch of work from writing down macros myself.

Dunno if you can even call it powergaming though, since for some reason the powerful tator chems like CFL3, chloral,neurotoxin, phlog, lexorin, lube are all super easy to mix.

As it stands, there's a lot of antagonism against botany in general because they seem to be very needy of a lot of things but offer very little to other departments. For some reason, most Chemists don't know that you can make ~15 100u plastic bottles in less than a minute or just have the ChemMaster spit out a bunch of 30u bottles.

Fulton beacons are cheap and essentially let you teleport around Lavaland and the station. You need to be outside the station to activate it, but that's no big deal since you can put on a firesuit and maybe drink some coffee to survive the 10 seconds of spess damage.

I agree on mutagen starter supplies.

Science gets minerals and sacid beakers, miners get vouchers, virology has a fridge full of bottles, even the chef starts with a box full of cooking supplies. Not to mention the plasma bars everywhere.

I'm all for gulagging people who steal dispensers though.

Slimepeople/Jellypeople should be able to speak and understand slime language (/datum/language/slime).

Also, move the mining conscript kit (basic equipment for new shaft miners) from vouchers to the mining vending machine. No miner is ever going to use their voucher for this at roundstart.
