Giving them sentience potion is stupidly OP since it basically gives you another player mob that can't be stunned nor poisoned, can survive atmos, and has tools to break down doors and such. I'd add more beneficial plants. Right now you have many deadly plants, a ton of cooking ingredients and maybe 5 with healing or useful properties.

You can use spray bottles for mixing, just like beakers and bottles. Having a 250u container is very handy for mixing chemicals like Hearty Punch and Chloral Hydrate.

Fulton beacons are cheap and essentially let you teleport around Lavaland and the station. You need to be outside the station to activate it, but that's no big deal since you can put on a firesuit and maybe drink some coffee to survive the 10 seconds of spess damage.

I agree on mutagen starter supplies.
Science gets minerals and sacid beakers, miners get vouchers, virology has a fridge full of bottles, even the chef starts with a box full of cooking supplies. Not to mention the plasma bars everywhere.

Also, move the mining conscript kit (basic equipment for new shaft miners) from vouchers to the mining vending machine. No miner is ever going to use their voucher for this at roundstart.
