Re: Silicon Policy and Traitors
4. Lone antagonists can do whatever they want. The reason Asimov silicons cannot kill non-humans for no reason is Rule 1. This had to be espoused upon in silicon policy because people are stupid. Traitors are explicitly allowed to be dicks. If you're worried about a borg harming a nonhuman, maybe y...

Re: You: Declares war, Me: Suicides, Admins: BWOINK
Nobody has explained why this is a bad thing or how it harms the game for the other players yet. When you allow this sort of behavior it tends to compound. A couple of people suiciding because they don't like war ops is okay, half the station suiciding is not. Even then, nobody gets banned for suic...

Re: [Subject217]TheBroTosser-Escalation rules are funky
" If you think its unfair or excessive they killed you for taking their ID, consider not stealing next round." The full phrasing including a part I think is relevant is as follows. You may instigate conflict with another player within reason (you cant completley[sic] destroy their departm...

Re: Trialmin Review: Alexch2
For brevity's sake, it's been just about two months since Alex was trialed. Alex is a very knowledgeable player, as well as a very rational and calm admin. He should be promoted.

Did you try contacting them on Discord about it? Myself and several other admins discussed the ban with them there, not sure why they didn't end up replying to the thread.

Re: [Anajamois]
You won't be unbanned if you don't write a serious appeal. On why you would be unbanned in January, all I can see is that Ausops told you your probation would be until the end of 2017, which is entirely separate and moot since you failed your probation and were permabanned.

Re: Rule 5 and disallowing deliberate incompetence
If someone's gimmick as a head role every shift is "I'm going to be a useless asshole to the detriment of everyone else in my department" and they do this consistently over a significant period of time then it becomes an admin issue. Nobody gets banned for being stupid/bad at their job int...

Nope, you can't do it in the traitor panel either. Explicitly, being a member of one cult bars you from being able to join another.somerandomguy wrote:Not normally, but I'm not sure about the traitor panelDemonFiren wrote:snip

Did a pretty fun and particularly unintrusive gimmick with Swarmer names. Was very nice to see.

So because you have an issue with one particularly poorly implemented feature of moodlets that pretty much nobody will defend, they deserve to be shut off unceremoniously by a single headmin?Wyzack wrote:seeing static because you are hungry and the room is dirty is fucking retarded

Re: nuke op saw lmg is massively op
it does 45 damage per hit. HP ammo is 60 damage per hit but pretty garbage versus armor. AP is 40 damage per hit with great armor pen. also it's 18 tc for the gun and 6 tc per spare magazine. you're usually spending about 30 tc total on a SAW. furthermore, people using the SAW can't use anything in ...

Re: PopulationMax Antagonist roles (lowpop antags)
I'll write some of what I wrote ingame here too. Currently, when you play on "low pop", the mode rotation looks like this. https://i.imgur.com/9J0Qbag.jpg Obviously nobody wants to play gamemodes that are horribly unbalanced in low pop, but this still feels like it lacks in variety. Theref...
