There's always the possibility of banning lowpop murderboning outright; this addresses the problem without needing dubious measures to fix it (why does Central send a ship full of guns at 29 people, 6 of which are Security, but not 30 people with no Sec?).

If AIs allow themselves to be subverted, they're not doing it right. Bolt the upload at roundstart, and if the HoS wants to change your laws after you've locked down Sec for harm, they'd better have a good reason ("It's Ian's birthday, I want to upload a law making him human").

Oh, goliath tendrils are brutal. They stun you and make you drop your weapon for a good few seconds, enough for the goliath to close in on you and get off a hit (if it's far away), or kill you outright (if it's already close). What if you could resist out of them?

Why do we even have a "no Sec association" rule for the peacekeeper? Security's job on the station is literally to keep the peace; Sec gear (stuns, restraints) is designed exclusively to nonharmfully detain people.

It should stun you even if you have hearing protection, but for much less of a time. This incentivises Officers to hide behind walls (etc) to benefit from the extra few seconds of flashbang-stun.
