Hey forumites. I'm planning on running a tabletop game set in SS13 for some friends of mine. While I could just write all this on my own, I thought it would be a fun activity to invite you guys to make up some characters that would populate the station. They can be normal, quirky, or even slightly insane- if it works it works! Just keep in mind that most of these characters will be in the background- most NPCs shouldn't be crazy enough to steal the show whenever they enter the room.

Man, Gay Johnson is the worst. I was doing my job on this god forsaken space station. Cleaning the floors like the good jannie I am, and low and behold. Here comes Gay Johnson, dragging a dead clown, spilling blood and banana lube all down the hall.

This is an issue that I've noticed on Manuel that I think is worth discussing. While, the /tg/station setting is fairly malleable, the following facts are more or less set in stone.
1. Nanotrasen is an incompetent megacorporation that has little regard for employee welfare.
2. Aliens are targets of racism by a human majority, are treated like second-class citizens, and are forbidden from entering positions of power.

For me this station gets blown up to hell and back nearly every round, nukies, plasma flood, cult, changelings, lexia black. Your survival chance is honestly pretty small.

It all started with a simple payday/heist operatives event that kind of grew into more of a storyline based thing. A recent conversation with armhulen a few days ago reminded me that I used to write for pleasure and that I had stopped for reasons i cannot quite recall. So, in order to rectify this, I have decided to take up writing some short stories of SS13 in a typically serious tone and posting them here because the hard part about writing is other people reading it.
