Negative quirk that makes animals hate you. Hostile mobs will prioritize you over people who dont have the perk. Can't get positive moodlets from pets because they growl/hiss at you when you try to pet them. Trying to pet them too much make them attack. Thought it would be a fun quirk.

I think this would give players a reason to not be WHOOPS ACCIDENTALLY CONVERTED!!

1) If a player mob would be converted, that body is offered up via prompt for a few seconds
2) If nobody responds, the original player keeps their body and stays in the game
3) If the player is later de-converted, the ghost possessing them receives the same treatment and the player is offered to return
4) If the player won't/can't accept the return (DC'd, took a ghost role, etc), the antag ghost becomes the new permanent...

What if we had the option to buy fake ID's cards with no access and can not be inserted into id consoles, they are printed with a single name and job that can't be changed after you buy it? (only sec officers can see if its fake by inspecting it like the captain and fake disks)

I hated lavaland, i think we should make it different for each round. One round it could be classic lavaland, and the next like icebox. This would mean we would have to revert icebox back to box station, or maybe not. I think moth, felinid and lizard players could agree on that it looks weird when their tails, wings, snouts and facial features disappear when putting on spacesuits/modsuits and other apparel that covers their entire bodies and/or heads. Perhaps it would be a good idea to redesign these clothing sprites to give the notion that they actually cover those extra limbs and appendages, instead of just hiding them.

The chef vending machine should have a pair of tongs in it. Tongs allow you to pick up food from a tile away and also feed people from a tile away, so you can pick up a burger and feed it to a fellow over the counter. This prevents hands touching the food and spreading the germs.

Tongs also made a satisfying clicking noise when you clack them together. The autolathe can print many tongs so we can have a crab rave.

So due to the numerous complaints of players being toxic and salty because they were killed by a traitor in low pop rounds and admins being forced to break the rules to their own unfair advantage because they don't want to be killed on said low pop rounds, why not just get rid of antags all together on populations less than say 10-20 players?
This would ensure nobody gets hurt or removed from the rounds and it also ensures there's no conflict or excitement on the servers.

Had this idea cooking for while, and I have a feeling it could add some nice depth to the game. If you are unfamiliar with the idea of RPG stats, the concept is in essence numbers that reveal something about your character and make you better or more effective in things relating to that stat. Examples include DnD's charisma, or the Fallout Franchise's luck. Alot of SS13 servers have a mechanic like this as well.

Clean up space law and make it policy on MRP only. Create a new Head of Staff called Judge who's sole purpose is hearing trials and authorizing re-education . Make security prove in court that the person they caught was committing the crime. During red alert, martial law is declared, and sec doesn't need trials to incarcerate, but its expected that an actual emergency should be happening for the station to be on red alert. There are people on Github thinking of making sidegrades to the existing tools. Although the tool part is not important, let us brainstorm how it could work:

So I've had a bunch of ideas for events. I'll try and give a quick brief then expand on the ideas.
These could perhaps work as triggered events, perhaps scaling with the threat level or in some cases perhaps triggerable by antags.

I've been wanting to make frogs and axolotls usable with the new DNA infuser thingy, but I still need some more ideas for it. Here's what I have so far:
Frog tongue: Can be used to grab stuff from afar.

What if the phazon accepted all types of cores, but with differing effects based on the core type?
Bluespace gives it the phase ability
Vortex/Gravity increases armor substantially, with vortex maybe giving some special ability

I was watching some gameplay of Alien: Isolation, and I noticed that there are these little orange doohickeys on various airlocks that hold them shut completely unless removed.

Wouldn't they be a cool item for SS13? Want to delay baddies (or goodies) from passing through a given airlock? Trying to do your job as a janitor can be tricky sometimes. Departments can get very dirty, especially the likes of medbay and brig, but you have no access. If the HoP isn't around to maybe squeeze an extra department onto your ID, you need someone to let you both in and out.

My first suggestion is NO DUPLICATES FROM CHEST LOOT. (This doesn't apply to the megafauna chest loot, I don't really mind if you can get duplicates from that, especially considering dragons blood which has many results, colossus crystal, etc. It'd be a shame to only get one chance at those and that's it.)

I have seen quite a few shifts where the SM blows up and the station has no gravity for the rest of the shift, so it would be interesting if a portable emergency gravity generator similar to a pacman could be added. I don't know basically anything about the gravity system so I don't know if it could even be coded but it would be an interesting and possibly helpful addition.

Instead of away missions, we could have a day missions. Here's how it would work.
The day mission shuttle would be docked at the station for the first 5 minutes of the shift, anyone who wants to come aboard can. It then flies to the away mission location, that trip takes 1 minute. It then spends 20-25 minutes at the far away location. There's a 3 minute warning before they depart, and then it takes 1 minute for the shuttle to arrive back at the station.
