Fire Extinguisher Emptying Delay

Instant and un-noticable emptying of a fire extinguisher is shitty considering how they are infinite in supply. Lagging a ton and not being able to see the tile is one of the most annoying things in the game. Its getting bad and really powergamey (Its literally as easy as pissing an officer into chasing you then you win).

Don’t dismiss this as a salt post bc I use it more against security then I have to catch people using it against me.

I suggest a quarter to half of a second delay to empty fire extinguishers.

Its not I have no issue with someone getting water bottles or paper cups. I’m just sick of fire extinguishers (far too easily accessible and quick to use).

um you can use beakers which at the lowest give you 50u (or buckets at 70u), prime them with water by any source, and harm intent the floor to get the same effect.

UPDATE: I'd say that's a lot easier then... right clicking *shutters*

I’m aware. I just made this thread because my issue is with fire extinguishers. Those methods of slips are rarer (and while more versatile) and something for a different thread I think.

In the logical sense it makes sense too. You can dump a container out instantly but can’t fucking release the pressure valve on a damn fire extinguisher instantly.

Edit: In an ideal world I’d say limit slip combat to soap and aoe slips like water vapor canister and rupturing water tanks but thats an unpopular opinion.

It would not be hard to add a delay, coding it yourself would be a good learning experience and would allow you to deal with this without having to combat people on the forums
