New lighting

2 forms of light on you whilst you're chasing someone through maint.

This happens. I really dislike the new lighting. Sure it looks pretty, but it comes at the price of making darkness unbearable in longer rounds.

Lightning has always been a buggy piece of shit, the new lighting isn't any more so.

the amount of times I've had the issue in OP with old lighting is immeasurable, this is nothing new

Happened in old lighting, I think it's a seclite issue actually.

Turn it on and off again. Generally works.

I've come across it when using more than just one light. Not just seclites.
Usually happens if i'm carrying a flashlight, PDA is on, and using a hardhat light. They get all pissy with eachother and start breaking.

I fix it by doing exactly that with the miner shit. Turn em all off then back on.

And citrus I'm not ballsy enough to jump into lighting.

What's the point of having carefully painted sprites if they're getting shitty colored overlays splashed all over them?

They're shitty multiplications. This preserves the details of the sprite as much as possible. If you have a white ball multiplied by red, it becomes a red ball with the same intensities and shit. Much better than a simple muddy red texture applied on top.
