This feature is honestly really stupid, who added this in?

Effectively gives you an instant meat shield anywhere you want.
Carry someone and instantly deploy someone whilst you shoot.
You go into crit? Instantly someone can jump off and drag you away.

Kevin did you not think this through?

Suggested changes:
Both carrier and carried take damage dealt to them.
Carrier loses access to one, or both hands.
Delay in getting off and unable to interact for a few seconds after getting off. Same with the carrier.

rs > rs3 was plagued with decisions made that completely and fundamentally changed how the game worked, like free trade/wildy removal (which is back in) and EOC, and this is ignoring the fact that some people prefer RS3 i don't

I mean I'm not saying it's a perfect feature and it shouldn't be touched, but I don't think we need to resort to hyperbole to make a point

In my experience I've only ever seen it used as a metabuddy power gaming tool. Borg riding at least makes some sense. Players riding players with full free hands and moving at full speed is dumb.

but i do agree in that case, piggybacking should take up both slots for the person carrying, like an ACTUAL piggyback ride

and it should have a delay, because you can't instantly jump on peoples backs (plus some people are abusing the feature to instantly get out of a aggro grab)

Piggybacking without consent has nullified grabs in combat but other than that I like piggyback rides

you can't unbuckle people who are piggy backed on borgs, if they team up on you it is a bad day when you can't pull the guy with the ranged stun from the guy with the melee stun.

Yeah you can't arrest people like this since they eat a taser shot, and it completely buffs emmaging borgs since you can just use one as a joust horse and hack off legs while going full speed.

Remove usage of hands during riding and make piggy backing move slower on the runner.

I actually believe cyborgs have somewhat low health, especially those modules that can't self-repair with a welder. It's the lack of slowdown that's making things really weird. It's annoying to both sides, I believe.

As a cyborg, being critical health makes me feel incredibly helpless - it feels like it's too easy for anyone to kill me with just two hits, and I can't really do anything but run and in case of being the one trying to kill a borg, it's weird for the borg to just move in full speed after hitting it so many times already.

Then again, borg balance is this kind of controversial area where nothing significant can really be done, so... Let's stay on the topic of piggy back rides.

No, I'm talking about how difficult it is to stop something going that fast. We're discussing about how stupidly fast and unslowable a person riding a borg is and how this piggy backing feature has created new problems.

Projectiles hit the lowest mob.
Hit a Borg and the rider is floored for the full duration and the Borg can't rebuckle them.

I might nerf some things and see if it's better after freeze but nothing drastic for now, ok?
