*Slip Knockdown Duration Nerf*tl:dr dumb and bad ForcefulCJS

Just revert it back to the previous duration. It is now worthless in any function as a means of self defense for those that don't even have much to begin with(clown, mimes & assistants). I have only tested the soap as of right now which is at 2 seconds of slip duration, but when asked I was told it was global nerf for all items that slip.

Considering that slips are an integral part of the combat forms in the game this nerf has created a massive imbalance. Almost makes no-slip shoes useless. Just seems to me ForcefulCJS was slipped by :honkman: one too many times and had a fit of sweaty nerd rage.

I didnt mind when they made it where you couldn't full strip someone of all their stuff quickly a few years back, but this is too far.

It was not intended. There was a huge pr preparing some changes to stun(mainly they being smoother and not relying on Life() ticks) and some minor mistakes happened, they are being fixed as soon as they are reported, so please, report any stun not being the correct time!

I was going to say its been over a year and was one of the best changes I've ever done, if you can't fuck someone up in the 8s you get for most slips, you need to git gud.

Most stuns seem to be weak, magic missile and throwing the mjollnir into someone stuns for like 0,5 secs.
Is this a bug or a nerf?

This has fucked me up a lot when playing security since I'm used to having that amount of time to cuff them. Now, I just stun them all the way to the brig and cuff there where I have backup.

I mean, it's not my skill, just that I've played around a year and a half without the stun times changing (much) so it takes a while getting used to it. Either way they're fixing it so whatever.

i'm not saying your accuracy is subpar but it makes getting snagged by a luck stun or slip less insulting and losing

I've played with even lower numbers so changing tactics was as smooth as silk for me.
