viruses in general ive noticed have done this for a while but it really fucked up an op round i just did where it even got the ops that spread it who were also hardsuited/internals

seems like kind of a big flaw

This is a bug I noticed while doing something else. Basically all the clothing checks are skipped.
I code for the code project and moderate the code sections of the forums.

Feedback is dumb and it doesn't matter

Now that stats matter the transmission penetration bonus started showing up. I'll check infection code, i'll try to make it more reasonable.

You do realise that its unavoidable through preventative action right?

Thats what latex gloves & anti infection masks are for in the boxes within medical, doctors are meant to wear those so they are neither spreading or contracting things.
