so we're all real happy that coders saw fit to circlejerk themselves into every round end but they take way to long and are just plain annoying, not to mention 99.9% of the names i see are literally who's.

just remove it.

Have it pick 5 coders to show as a special thanks. The more contributions the more chance you have of being on the board [like map rot]

Having it show EVERYONE is obnoxious.

Add a pref but make it only selectable if you contributed atleast once to the codebase.

It is kinda slow considering it happens every round, there is entertainment produced for millions of dollars that has credits rolling faster.

An intro in the lobby is a better idea as there's usually nothing going on in the lobby.

I actually kinda like it at roundend, with the combination of lobby music at round end and the general chaos it gives the game a TV show feel.

That being said, limiting it to a random assortment of contributors each round based on how much contribution would make it significantly less painful.

Slip the curb your enthusiasm theme as lobby music so it can play at round end for cheap yucks like was suggested above and it would be perfect.

i should note that i was under the impression that credits delayed the round restart; whether it seemed like it or they actually did at first but it no longer appears to be a problem.

since my main beef with it is gone i rescind my arguments.

It seems kind of tacky, and I'm speaking as someone who's seen their name up there.

Then again, I have my name up there for little things - and that might be an important point, too.

We've got a list of coders elsewhere, if I recall correctly. As an alternative suggestion, what about having the players of the current round come up instead? Have the names of the antagonists scroll up top, perhaps, like the stars of the show.

An amalgamation of ideas might be better.

Have the credits start with a "Brought to you by", then display five random Coders. The have the text "Starring" come up which then lists the in game, and OOC names of the people who played as a round start Head of Staff. Then for finally have the text display "Also Featuring" and then do the same thing as above but display the names of all the rounds main antagonists.
