Agent Stealth Box

deathride, the citadel 13 coder, tried to nerf it 4 hours after it was made and without this thread even being up, hell, the feature wasnt even ingame yet

The box can be used while stunned and it blocks hits. Just saw a nuke op use it repeatedly after getting tasered to jump in and out of combat. Does it even have a cooldown?

yeah it does but it may be too short, suggestion for time?

Not sure, but there's a big issue where people can use it in combat to break line of sight, so maybe 10 second cooldown starting from when the user breaks stealth? I'm pretty sure that having it on makes you taser/disabler immune too, and again it can be used while stunned to stop people from cuffing/adding additional stuns/beating your ass, which is a bit too powerful.

you can not deploy the box while stunned, cuffed, or incapacitated, but i will extend the cooldown

I saw a nuke op box himself a second after getting stunned. Maybe you're right and he was on drugs, but he wasn't moving for awhile after boxing himself.

It is. You placed the stealth implant under cybernetic implants not implants. Cybernetic implants are nuke op only implants

I think it should be removed from nuke ops.

They can get up close to the disk easily, and if hurt (or just in a space fight in general) can pop some chems and hide in it.

Its cool for traitors but cheesy for nuke ops.

there's been a suite of fixes/changes that mostly depower it (around stealth cooldowns mainly), so lets have those settle in first

Anytime, anywhere, turn invisible and move? escape or ambush sec That easily? yes it is op.

Its surprisingly effective, I've seen it be used to ambush Security unexpectedly since you can move very fast in it. I once saw a Traitor kill half the crew because they were using the box with a Ebow to go around and gank everyone.

Moving fast in the box is a bug, it's some kind of weirdness with the movement code that you can move super fast if you move diagonally against a wall
