Yeah i like it too. Although i havent seen it in game yet. Also seems pointless when you have the Singularity Engine which can produce more power than the station could ever use.

Burning toxic and extremely flammable plasma is much safer than the station eating singularity, you heard it here folks

About something paprika did, no less.

Did those pipes ever get sorted out or does it still do that weird "random space pipe" thing?

when mixing a highly volatile gas with oxygen and setting it on fire, which is what RnD uses to make bombs, is considered safe.
you know NT is an awesome employer

Elaborate? Never had a bug issue related to this yet except for the APC placement.

The original incarnation in the PR had the pipes entirely buried under the exterior wall. I saw an edit later that just kinda moved the pipe into space which 1) Looked ugly 2) Looked very exposed for a pipe full of explosive wonder gas. I never got the chance to look back at it (mostly because I don't really care that much about turbines) to see if the pipe got moved again to somewhere less haphazard.

The pipe outside is for waste, there's a vent outside that shits the waste into space if you want to clean out the burn chamber if you fucked up.

This yellow pipe does not lead to space.

Oh, yeah, that was originally through the wall but pipes in walls are hard to fix. Also that pipe does not hold hot fuel unless you intentionally heat up the loop somehow.

poor Numbers, doesn't even get credit for the things he DID finish. (more or less)

RIP chemistry changes, literally in development longer than my SS13 experience.

Really nice addition, I tested it on a local server, used a gas mixer to get a 66%-33% plasma/oxygen feed
Spoiler:
Image
with the inner airlock closed it reached a plateau at around 75 kW.

Too bad that in game the AI will usually panic and turn off everything as soon as she sees the mixing tank filling with plasma, unless you bypass the tank and link the pure pipe directly to the incinerator line

Or atmos techs doing the same.
Though that may lessen with time with this. Would make it possible to actually prepare for a plasma flood in advance as a AI.

I did this as a non-antag with no issues. All you have to do is announce it first on the Engineering channel. If the CE does not have a problem with it, you are clear to go ahead. The AI should not freak out about it unless you go out of your way to deny it access to the pump controls.

You may need to worry about Sec, the CE, or other atmos techs that do not understand atmos and think you are trying to flood plasma. It does not help that it is difficult to tell the direction of the pipes at first glance.

I did not notice this PR at the time tye change is great just one niggling issue you should of merged that room with the on on the left to give the ability for mad scientists to help you create more turbines to create competition with engineering.
Apart from that it is wonderful another addition to box sorely needed.
