Pressurized slime blob

What do you think about the pressurized slime blob after the slip rework?
Since its water no longer stuns when you slip on it, can't you just keep attacking after slipping?

Make it cool the air to freeze the water maybe? It is fairly harmless now other than getting a surround on a downed person that can still crawl away.

Yeah, they can. I got to play as blob and had this. It was really bad.

IIRC, the standard response to slip blob is to just disable gravity. No gravity, no slips.

Probably would be fine if you just upped blob damage.

I mean, like I said on discord, the slip blob type isn't the be all end all it used to be, but still has some use behind it. With the ability to change reinforced blob tiles into laser resistant tiles, having slips spewed everywhere to make people vulnerable to blob spores is viable.

It's not as useful as it was before, but before it was a be all end all short of turning off gravity.

bro many blob types are fucking garbage, see Burning "Gets destroyed by sprays from fire extinguishers" Oil.

Burning oil is one of the worst blobs.

Fire extinguishers are both common, can hit three tiles at once and you don't need to be next to the blob to hit it with the spray (unlike welders). The only time it's good is if you pop in toxin storage and set off all the plasma and expand like crazy if someone is dumb enough to ignite it

Yall mind if I necro this thread. Anyway, the pressurized blob type is just abysmally awful right now, its overall damage is incredibly average compared to the other blob types and with the slip changes its one original trait has been made a joke.

You could also change it from water to lube. These are code changes you could do in 12 seconds

Should I make a thread for overall blob balance feedback? Since there are some really shitty other blob chems at the moment, IE zombifying pods and energizing jelly in particular.
