Bottom post of the previous page:

What if you replace the armors in sec lockers with pap's armor, spawning/latejoining officers get ausops armor. This way we can still keep the formal suits, officers can swap their tacticool armor with the less threatening one to go along with the formal suit, and at the same time civilians who get job-replaced to security get the civilian armor from the lockers so it's instantly obvious they're "rookies".

Cargo armor crates are surplus security equipment though

That seems overly complicated sorry. I think there should only be one consecutive armour sprite style for sec at all times.

I don't know much about coding, but how is replacing 6 items in 6 lockers "overly complicated"? Is it harder than replacing the cargo crate? Considering that it will allow the use of the formal sprites, and that berets/caps/masks/adjusting suit/satchel/backpack can already alter the look of security, I don't think it's a big deal

What I mean by complicated is that it makes a jumble of what armour security officers will wear as some will be wearing one armour and some the other.

And so what, you can as well remove caps and berets and satchels because god forbid officers have different outlooks

Headwear is fine, but armour has always been a consistent factor in the security uniform.

Paprika has indicated he wants to another sprite PR to replace all sec sprites with the newly created dues ex sprites made from singulo.

Should make a new poll, thread for that if/when it arrives.

Great, a coder war. Unless you try to carve some neck space from the ausops sprites, the armor is gonna hide the tie of the deus ex sprites, turning them into a shitty khaki uniform. And really now, he wants to make them the new standard sec suit? Please no

Oh shit, really? Because those sprites look absolutely fantastic. Not sure about the HoS coat, but the rest of it looks pretty good.

I like the new-old uniforms. They're utilitarian and sleek. There's clear distinction between uniform and jackboots, no unnecessary grey shit kneepads cluttering the sprite. Plain armor vest also looks nice.

I do not like the security belt though, it needs some more distinguishing.
