Should lings always be able to 100% manifest powers?

When they transform it seems a tad overpowered when a guy rises from the dead transforms back into his superpowered form of hulk, tk hide in shadows, laser eyes etc.

Genteics fault for getting all those powers for the ling to steal.

That said, dying as one genome should intoduce some degree of degredation to that genome. It rewards the ling to not stay in one form for too long, and keeps them from just playing captain/geneticists all round through 3 deaths.

ayy lmao ling is a terrible, terrible mode and has always been a fucking horrible mode.
i'm not optimistic towards it being good at any point in the future, either.

that said, any improvement is an improvement, and snakebutt's suggestion sounds cool.

Or we can just remove Changeling from the rotation.

Let's face it, its a terrible game mode that only remains in because its been in the game forever.

Until someone can turn it into something meaningful and fun, irrespective if that's Oldling 2.0, Shadowling or a massive revamp, because right now Changeling is just a boring game mode.

We should not be treating the symptoms, but getting rid of the cause.

Changeling is fine as traitor 2.0

And yes they should always manifest powers, because they are the master of all things DNA.

Ling has always been the worst. Its the round where shuttle always gets recalled because gotta complete my objectives and lasts an hour and a half. Maybe make ling a random event? Like it triggers randomly and next player who comes in is a ling with objective to take a certain persons identity and thats it. No need to murderbone everyone for dna and shit

Ling is the worst gamemode. I would love to see it dropped from the rotation.

if possible just remove it from Sibyl's rotation.
Despite being not very varied from traitor in gameplay it's nice enough on badger.
