New R&D Console Interface

So far I like the changes to R&D a lot. I even like parts of the new interface.

But everything takes up SO MUCH SPACE; it takes significantly longer to find what you're looking for, even with the search function. It's a shame it's been so miserable to use, since the changes make me wanna spend more time with R&D.
Are there plans for a "List View" option? Something more compact and speedy?

I dunno if this includes the whole experiment system, but if it does, I overall like the new interface and the experiments EXCEPT the materials scanning stuff, which seems to make up the bulk of the experiments. It's just annoying and tedious as opposed to fun in any way, whereas the other experiments are either more passively done or are at least more interesting. The console UI itself is stellar.

it shuld be easier to steal tech, a nessicary thing when sci is either all doing xenobio and the geneticist are metagaming.
