i want to grow cacti

Pre-Fermi lavaland plants i remember interacting with were atleast amusing for alchemy, they've never as far as i remember been mainstream to bring aboard the station unless you specifically wanted to annoy medbay with superior chemicals like mushroom froth super-drugs. Pestle & mortar, some radium from the glowshrooms, some blood and a large rounded toxic mushroom, boom - carpet, with just small alterations of the mushroom mixtures to feel like a ashwalker witchdoctor.

Fermi-sludge killed off that practice to whoever i taught it to (like farming, that got ruined partially on lavaland too but glass isnt too hard), what's really dissapointing on the point of remaining planetside plants is that ice-peppers are thematically the only appropriate thing for icebox according to a few folks, why not stuff like snowdrops, icicle cucumbers and pinecone-apples?
