Changelings are cool, I want more changelings and less Nightmares or Provocateur's

Armhulen had a pretty good idea about this where a late-join changeling would like... "crash" onto the station in a meteor made out of flesh and it would have to slink amongst the crew after that... Sounded cool, not sure how you can balance that out.

Mid-round changeling "feels" ridiculous in that I don't really see people going for something more clever than "YOU SUDDENLY REMEMBER THAT THIS IS NOT YOUR OWN BODY, AND INSTEAD THAT YOU ARE A SLUG CONTROLLING THIS BODY INSTEAD". Would like to be proven wrong.

Possibly something like fugitives but with meteors? Maybe it can be a possibility to happen during meteor waves so it’s not easy to just assume “OMG LING METEOR”. If we are going to make it one meteor, maybe add a new random event called solo meteor where just one or two random meteor(s) gets sent and destroys stuff to throw the crew off?

I like the idea within changelings starting from fresh, sounds like a neat gimmick.

This event was already added recently actually, so no problem there.

It could work exactly like mid-round blob host. One moment you're Joe Johnson walking about doing his job the next moment you've been body snatched by a parasite wearing Joe's skin.

Maybe just enable latejoin shuttle. The other ideas are quite cool but will probably take quite a while to be coded, if they ever are, so it seems like a sensible solution in the meantime.
