Backpack slots / UI

Can backpack slots be made the same way as pockets or other character slots, so you don't have to pixel hunt the item to click but merely click the box slot itself to pick it up?

So now that we have it. What about interaction between item in hand and container? You still need to click on sprite to put item inside.

'You are unable to equip this!' x100 while trying to store your baton in that secbelt. It is annoying and unnecessary, yes.
