Borgs tied to Traitor AI are immune to emags
Something un-written in a changelog, in the footnotes of this post https://github.com/tgstation/-tg-station/pull/10830, it was changed.
This is a pretty strong buff to Traitor AIs, which usually survive until the end anyways.

This was true before, if the Traitor AI remembered to hack its borgs. That particular change about which you are complaining is meant to avoid the PR becoming a nerf to Traitor AIs.

Shouldn't it be more of a back and forth instead of robotics disables the robotics console so the AI cannot hack its borgs but its borgs are immune to getting hacked anyways.

AI hacking cyborgs being dependent on a computer is a different discussion.

EDIT: Had bad information in post before, woops!
Eh, we should really decide on this once and for all instead of futzing around back and forth. If someone goes for a borg, they should have confidence it should or should not work. Right now I don't have that confidence.

Re: Borgs tied to Traitor AI are immune to emags
Borgs are already difficult to subdue, especially subtly, have a billion tells, and are baseline powerful and evasive with few weaknesses. If the emag isn't guaranteed to work on them without any feedback then I could see people just killing them. It's also a pretty hefty nerf to roboticist traitors who are mostly reliant on borgs being emaggable for tatoring.
At the same time, if you're merging malf and traitor (which is a dumb idea anyways and the way it works currently is balls, hell, the delta timer doesn't even appear), emagging a borg and telling it to kill it's AI is uncounterable.
Maybe make a message that says 'the cyborg rejects the emag!' or something to that effect.

The bomb announces the time left every 60 seconds. The status panel timer was shitty copypasted mob code tied to shitty game mode code.

i still think that emagging a 'magged borg should simply add your name to the list of syndicate agents.
it would be really cute to have a borg magged by two different double agents desperately trying to stop them from shooting at each other.
mediborg alarms "SENPAI PLEASE STOP BEING SO VIOLENT!!"

Robo could also just work with the AI once the borg figures out he's been emagged.
