need to force emergency maint access

ive been observing 4000 rounds adminning and these things are absolutely ridiculous if the AI isnt there to turn on emergency maint. they wipe out everybody, even new arrivals. fix it

There's more than enough time to find cover no matter what your job is unless you're being arrested and security just leaves you in the fucking cell like idiots, or you're out in space dicking around.

I see entire medbay staff just standing around picking their nose when the warning goes up and then scatter around like fucking roaches once it hits wondering what the scary green smoke is that's killing them. Including the CMO.

At worst maybe a scientist trying to get minerals from cargo on Boxstation is gonna have to really fucking book and probably not make it if he honestly can't duck in with someone else along the way.

Saegrimr does have a point that, for the most part, people get killed by the radstorms by not paying even the slightest attention to alerts and just running around like a headless chicken when it -does- hit. It's also true that you really shouldn't have an issue getting into maintenance.

That being said, it also seems like one of the few things that qualifies for 'emergency' maintenance access, so it probably wouldn't hurt to add.

Aren't there general access emergency storage side areas to dive into or do they not count as shielded?

There's a PR open now to make those shielded

Just make the alarm continuous.

I tried to add auto emergency maint in the original pr, but it was heavily opposed.
