Borgs should be slowed down when pulling something
Lets just have creatures with no arms and the ability to bolt doors run at their maximum speed while moving objects behind them

Lets nerf borgs more. That'll show those borgs for dunking me.Bombadil wrote:Lets just have creatures with no arms and the ability to bolt doors run at their maximum speed while moving objects behind them
This was a bad idea when it was humans getting a slowdown for dragging and its a bad idea for borgs too.

Re: Borgs should be slowed down when pulling something
i think at some point in the future if borgs are ever thoroughly reworked and rebalanced, slowdowns like these are a good idea. but at the moment i think borgs are in a good spot and dont really require any further tweaks.

ok, on topic now, borgs have been getting nerf after nerf. the only ""additions"" they're getting recently is the upgrade ones which no one prints and my cyborg riding one which doesn't really buff them as much as their riders.
They do not need more nerfs, unless something is buffed to counteract that.

Pulling things that can't fit in your backpack should activate a torque module, consuming 20 units of power every step you take.
It should make a audible 'BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" too.

If humans have no penalty for pulling, neither should anything else.

I say 99% chance that if a person punches a silicon he stuns, kills, and blows (not sexyul u pervs) the beep boop, just like in my favorite cartoon: single hit guy!
But there's a 1% chance that itll give 1 brute to a random hand, so fair!

Re: Borgs should be slowed down when pulling something
I think the difference is that borgs don't take slowdown from anything else while a number of things will slow down a humanGun Hog wrote:If humans have no penalty for pulling, neither should anything else.
But regardless I don't think this is necessary, neither is any borg tweak at the moment short of a total rework (or just straight up shiny fun and balance free new features)

Re: Borgs should be slowed down when pulling something
Some time ago there was a slowdown on all borgs that made them slightly slower than humans but I think it's not in the game anymore.Incomptinence wrote:The borg is slower to begin with.

Re: Borgs should be slowed down when pulling something
Borgs start out slower than people in hardsuits so I'm not sure what the deal is here, unless you're injured or starving a borg pulling a nuke shouldn't be that hard for a nukie to catch.
