Concept Proposal: Krakatoa station - lava asteroid

As to combine a lot of the elements of lavaland and regular conventional "asteroid maps" into something new, i propose the following.

A station orientated map that is set on a igneous space asteroid that shares the assets & similarities with regular lavaland. As a prerequisite, the asteroid must have semi-unique lavaland tile assets that function similarly but have no inherent atmos differences so that space and the airless basalt doesn't conflict.
  • Lava will criss cross the station and also actually be inside the station, this lava or lava subtype is also atmos independent to stop space wind accidents in which objects are drawn into it. The lava subtype can have lattices & catwalks built upon it easier than regular lava allowing crewmembers (and the mapper) to factor it into casual architecture and also apply repairs when the 'base turf' of the asteroid is revealed

See attached: Artists representation of maint with a outward window looking at the asteroid, the stairs breaks up the channel and makes it appear like there's a lift in the linear hallway, giving it a illusion of verticality or that areas of the asteroid are geometrically un-even or that you are elevated over the lava on a bridge. Whether the lava is flowing upward or downstream necessary to the illusion of it moving and circulating through maint.

  • The station runs on a TEG that utilises geothermal power, making it suitable and very reliable engine for low pop & medium pop but might not reach the desired output for anything further than that, engineers will need to be on hand for instances of sabotage rather than engine instability, as HE pipes run through loops of lava & space respectively to create the ideal temprature conditions for the engine.
Much of the layout is as of discretion, but there's no meme department layouts or specialist transportation systems besides the AI satellite which is in orbit and requires a transit pipe that successfully navigates past the lava and asteroid biome.

For a number of reasons i can't actually just get on with the job with the vision i have for it and produce this by myself so i'll drop the concept here.
