I'm planning to add a new jumpsuit for the engidrobe, a high visibility jumpsuit as an alternative to the regular jumpsuit. I have the original, along with two more variants suggested off of Github. I want to see which one people prefer most.

Sgtsammac's, the original, mainly orange, with black and yellow highlights:


Edit: Alot of people have been saying the original contrasts way too much, I've toned the colors best I can, and will be using that as the orange one.

Revised Orange:


Green Variant 1, swaps the orange for green:


Green Variant 2, swaps the orange for green, swaps the black highlights for orange:


I had a fourth one, same as the green variants, but swiped black for yellow, and yellow for white. Didn't finish that one since yellow was giving me trouble to work with.

imo they are all pretty uggo but the first is the least so, if only because lime green only accentuates the ugly

imo they are all pretty uggo, but if you really have to fix what ain't broken, it must be orange, because it's the colour of the department

uggo is kinda the point of high-vis though

if you wanted to be really obnoxious you could give them an overlay for the high-vis sections that makes them always slightly visible even in darkness

I'll see about making the orange one less bright.

Thematically, I like them and I hope we get something like this into the game. What would be even cooler is if the pixels that made up the reflective bit showed up even in pitch black. That's outside the scope of a simple new uniform though

If the sprites had some way of reflecting in low/no light I agree that would be an amazing idea.

But for the sprites. I think they are nice. They look fitting for more of a 'emergency Engineer'.

Yeah, that most recent Orange jumpsuit is the most acceptable, but I have to agree that the green ones especially look uggo supreme.

If anything, that new orange one should go in, but to be honest, I think you should just load up the default yellow engineer outfit and desaturate the colors a little if you want to make something look more professional and realistic.

the orange one is looking good, i suggest adding it to the vendor as a contraband item.

It was added to the Engidrobe as a normal item. Might make it a premium item when I get the time.

Is the department coloring thing why the non-orange ones are being turned away? Uggo seems the point for these suits being worn and they may be worn very little in comparison given how often someone like engineering changes their base jumpsuit.
I'm also torn because aren't engineering RIGs going to be covering them most of the time anyway?

I wouldn't personally, but the green variants are mostly me swapping colors, and spriting isn't something I'm good at. Probably just don't look good compared to the orange.
