Only change would be the nuke ops breaking right through the maintenance shaft and then into the armory.

thats not the full layout, i havent finished it. the full station is going to be the shape meta and box are, vaguely ovular

Alot of that looks extremely similar to metastation. Experiment with changing the shape of things. Such as the bar looks exactly the same as sybils but in a different spot and the bridge you made is almost an exact duplicate of sybils as well except with the gravity generator moved somewhere else.

nik, for initial development of the map i am going to be heavily using designs from both box and meta, and once the map is "finished" in the sense that it's playable, i will let anyone and everyone suggest things for me to change until common agreements come through certain areas. i'm mostly doing this because even maps that i love (efficiency 2 and 3) are hated by some players just for being different from classic meta/box. until i am mostly finished, this will be pretty much a frankenstein-ing of box and meta's best parts imo and maybe they will blend in more naturally to each other as i take user-suggested changes.

for the sake of change, both security and cargo are, instead of meta/box, eff3/box inspired.

I have a suggestion though. Maybe put dorms up above the holodeck and the holodeck right off the hallway? people will use it more and it's easier to get to. Dorms should be tucked up in the back by the dorms pod for escaping and shit because privacy. Holodeck should be a short stroll from the locker room.

Go look at metastation on the NT branch and boxstation. The engine needs safety lattices that allow you to jump from one side of it to the other without getting sucked into the field. Even if they're only minor and not that long that's fine but yeah too many brave nuke ops have lost their loves to the singulo.

Also, no wood flooring there, use the checkered flooring for the restaurant and the wood for the stage.

Also shit name, call it gripstation because it goes it goes it goes

atmos is done and now im wiring and adding lights
after that ill do disposals, nav beacons and tracking beacons, fire/air alarms, then maint doors and finally decor.

Take a hint from my AI Core's design.

The AI Core proper should at least be 2 R-Walls strong on all corners. Also be sure to test the firing ranges of the turrets so they don't accidentaly hit the AI, there's a problem on Box where if someone is standing in a certain area the Turrets will hit the AI instead, which can be surprising if you left the turrets on lethal setting.
