Medipens +

Alright, so, I LOVE the medipen, it's great, someones in crit, smack em with it, start dragging or CPR, but I feel they're a little... overlooked because there's some potential with the concept of a 'disposable hypospray' that I think could be expanded upon. Also, the fact that medipens are in a VERY LIMITED, almost NONE REPLACEABLE quantity kinda bites, so I've got a plausible solution to that.

Make a series of Medipen variants that can be created in RnD (as well as the default one at an obscenely low research level). I don't know the levels by heart so I can't give exactly balanced values, but I'm thinking like:

Medipen: Default little guy, we know him, we love him.

Rescuepen: Contains 5 Inaprove like Medi, as well as 5u Tricord.

Saviorpen: Contains 5 inaprove, dexalin, Bicar, anti-tox, and Kelo.

Lifepen: It's a savior pen, with 5 tricord thrown in as well.

Angelpen: take a life pen, and use the tier 2 variants of all the chems in it. (So Doctor's instead of Tri, Dex+, etc.).

Now for balance, everything say, Savior and up would need mining mats to make, Savior would need Silver, Life would need Gold, and Angel would need uranium (and maybe gold as well).
We could also make pen variants that aren't just for healing, I know miners complain about having to munch their pills, why not make a Stimpen with a similar chem loadout as them? Maybe an upgraded 'overdrive' version of it that's made with plasma that deals toxic damage but makes you more resistant to stuns? Why not make a 'plus' variant of all the medipens as well, that takes like diamond and doubles the amount of chems in a medipen? Or perhaps make it a separate upgrade (if only for protolathe menu convenience) and call it a 'pen extension' that you use on any medipen to get the same effect? Iunno, by this point I'm just rattling off ideas... like a clone pen with Alkysine and Rytalin to get a freshly cloned person a jumpstart without necessarily needing Cryo!

Is this a thing that's already implemented? I haven't played medical doctor for so long, and I don't remember seeing anything like this around medbay as any other medbay role.

Medi-pens are on Artyom. This is in the wrong ideas board.

Well, I think they should be on TG as well? :P

But either way, my suggestion DOES stand.
