Bottom post of the previous page:

Ended up killing three megas by myself, made peace with the pair of Ashwalkers staying in the lavaland, pimped out their hut and geared them up.

They can't worship something that is dead.

Not a single tendril left alive, Legion busted open and his special stick mine for the taking.

When you have a choice between worshipping a dead skull monster, or the crazy mortal that killed your god, which you gonna pick?

The extended notification has been in for about a week now, and (in my own hyperbolic experience) has lead to a degradation of gameplay. From people going all out insane when admins aren't there, to people behaving in ways that would almost certainly get them bwoinked in serious rounds and rushing to call the shuttle or create a reason to call the shuttle.

I'd propose one or multiple of the following:
  1. The inclusion of extended in secret be put to a player and/or headmin vote.
  2. The notification be restricted to only being in the actual body of the CentComm threat notification.
This has the benefit of allowing captains/heads to organize events without inviting shitty players to misbehave
  3. The notification be removed all together and we return to the old ways.
Thoughts?

The whole point of extended is that it adds to paranoia--you don't know who is a traitor, or indeed if anyone is. Announcing it is like playing a round of Secret Hitler that starts off with everyone admitting they're a liberal.
