When you leave the Syndicate shuttle and immediately get transformed into a monkey in the middle of space by a magicarp that is literally just a screen outside (in this round, where your allies burn out the area with the disk in it and the Syndrone shoots up the shuttle instead of helping).

i got turned into a dog, then a monkey, then fully healed, then skeleton. which may seem great at first until the syndicate ship starts killing you.

Yes, I got turned into a white humanoid after the monkey which let me limp back to the shuttle, but since I was already spaced I was dying, and the turrets finished me off. You think the shuttle would recognise Syndie equipment...

I wish I liked one of them but they're all fucking garbage.

I bet I can make a map that everyone will love and has the fresh originality you terrible creators want.

The best part is that I'm not even shitposting, I can't stand playing SS13 when these ugly fucking maps are active.

I get what birdboat was trying to do but the problem is with /tg/station's community its basically just the map equivalent of the grey tide.

Make my map idea - Tilistation.



- Consists of nine squared-off "microdepartments", each comprising of four rooms (which could be as small as 3x4) with every bit of essential equipment shared in, plus some inessential equipment if there's space, and a windmill cross-shaped maintenance area
- Brown: Cargo, Red: Security, Orange: Dorms, White: Utility/Storage, Green: Command, Black: Service, Yellow: Engineering, Purple: Science, Blue: Medbay.
- Can be scaled up or down. Possibility of an outer ring of maintenance as well, and/or additional maintenance passages around the squares.
- The most radical.

those hallways remind me of dreamstation which is ehhhh, but it sounds interesting otherwise

I need to do something about removing all other maps besides meta and box.

Even if I manage to get an awesome map uploaded, it won't be any good if those other pieces of shit are still in rotation.

People who bully drones in general, frankly. I watched a round this morning where one knob with an axe chased down two drones spaced their bags just for giggles. Drones can't mess with you so don't mess with drones just to be a dick.

On a related note, I'm getting sick of characters who are entirely based around "GAS THE LIGGERS", all round, erryround.

There's a guy on Sybil whose name is "Firstname "Ligger Skinner" Lastname". Every round, he has to bring it up.

It's like /pol/ doesn't understand that they're (/pol/, not the lizards) the new furries.

I am as sick as anyone else is of al that but yall are sensitive boys over here

Minor gripe, but mining that doesn't bring back iron. I know its not worth hardly anything points wise but several departments can easily burn through all of the roundstart metal in no time. Going to the ORM and finding 5 metal is really heartbreaking.

This is true. The mentality I was first met with when I started playing (and mining) was 'No, stop gathering iron, we can just order it at cargo'. So, for a while, I never got any, because I was scolded for it.

Then I played Science and oh Jesus God did I run out of metal and glass and everything fast.

When nobody works on RnD so you take it and work on it and then you get blown up because "I was going to work on it later!" Even though the fucking acid was still untouched however stealing from departments breaks the NAP so you can't even ahelp if you do get blown up because your grief TM license doesn't cover job abandonment.
