I had a question about using chemicals with cigarettes like it was mentioned a few pages ago, are chemicals inside a cigarette administered all at once or over time? Is there any benefit in using them that way?

Untested, but I do believe I've heard of people injecting hyperzine or tricord or such into a cigar and then smoking it, giving them an over-time consistent dose of the drug.

zippo lighters also fit in cigarette packs. It's one of the greatest changes we've had.
Chems in cigarettes or cigars (cigars hold a lot more) are used over time. It should be noted however, that the cigarette/cigar lasts FAR longer then the chems you can put into it.
Also dipping one of your cigarettes into beepsky smash then offering someone a smoke it somewhat amusing.

Oh, and you can dip the enitre cigarette pack into a beaker to soak them all, apparantly.

If you're a bartender, need iron for Beepsky Smash/Amasec and there are no chemists, you can just go grab a wrench, dismantle a couple things for metal and then put the sheets into a grinder.

I don't know about dunking the pack into the beaker, but you can use a syringe on the packet to load it with chems. I tested the input with a sleeper and it keeps 2.6 or so units of the given chem in your system until the chem content of the cig expires. The cig will keep burning after the chem content is exhausted though so the only tell is that your hyperzine wears off. Since detective play requires smoking and chem is always looking for things to do, I almost always have a pack of smokes on me laced with either hyperzine or anti-tox/synaptazine. Got to dunk a cultist once because he jumped me with a talisman right after I sparked a synap cig.

I am glad I wasn't the only one who thought cig packs needed to be able to contain lighters. That shit drove me crazy.

Here's a big one that few people seem to know:

The telecoms traffic monitor console logs all data across all radio channels. Including departmental and Sec/Command. It does not require CE access, just the ability to hack a door.

I don't know if it's been said here but...

Medipens can be unfilled and refilled with a different chemical or mix of chemicals, acting as an emergency 10 unit hypospray or, if you get creative, a parapen.

With a destination tagger you can mail packages to any of the head offices, along with the major departments and the bartender. Pretty baseline, but few people ever use it and it can be really robust if handled right. Also if you want a laugh stuff the clown into a locker, weld and wrap it then send it through the conveyor without tagging it and let him loop through the disposal system forever.

Doesn't work. Just loops once and comes back to the Delivery Office.

You can get a lot of cargo points from the seed packets of certain mutated plants, just make sure you place them inside of a crate and you'll get as much as 50 cargo points from a blue-space tomato seed packet. This only works once per kind of seed packet unless you increase the potency which will give you a cargo point for every point of potency higher it is than the first sample you sent. This has been in since January but I haven't seen anybody mentioning it or using it.

Nope, wrapped and unlabeled packages loop back to the conveyor in the mail room, so if you have someone locked into a wrapped locker with the conveyors on they're stuck there until someone else comes to help. Honk

For CARGONIA (or R&D): Evidence Lockboxes don't fit in the autolathe. But they do fit in the crusher.

On that note, The destructive analyzer transfers a percentage of the metal/glass of the shit you deconstruct to the protolathe, and how high that percentage is, is based on how upgraded it is.

So it can basically act as an inefficient autolathe/grinder to get metal and glass and shit from shit around science if you are hurting.

Are you sure the pepper/salt/whatever reagent actually goes into them though, seeing as it doesn't show a message?

That much salt or pepper should stun someone. Or make you sneeze a lot if its the pepper.

yes, but it most likely wouldn't fix the issue.

I actually never realized this until someone used it to save my life.
The universal recorder is actually universal. Want to talk to aliens or hear what they are saying? Universal recorder can record their voices and then you can playback the sound or print out the transcript and it's translated. Got monkey'd by an evil geneticist but managed to escape? Hit up the library of law office and grab that recorder. It can quite litterly translate anything from monkey to alien. I actually never realized this until I got monkey'd during a rev round and someone used that to understand my situation and I wasn't just murdered on the spot. It was very heart warming.

Theoretically this works on drones too right? Since Dronespeak outside of Drone Binary is just another "language" that always translates to chitters instead of chimpers.

Code:
