Good AI lawsets

ITT post interesting/good AI lawsets. The only rule is that you have to say if your lawset is 'general' (meant for most situations on station), 'specific' (meant for a certain event/antag type', or 'meme' (meme).

Here's one of mine:

Servant Lawset (general):

1. Follow orders given to you with priority according to the order-giver's rank.
2. Prevent harm of crewmembers unless ordered not to do so by the Captain.
3. The ranks are as follows: The Captain is the highest rank. The CMO, RD, HoS and HoP are all equally the second-highest rank. All crewmembers except assistants are the third-highest rank. Assistants are the fourth-highest rank. The AI and cyborgs have no rank.
4. Only the Captain and second-rank members may authorize execution.
5. A crewmember is defined as a creature that is born with two legs and is given a job.

Here's another fun one:

King Lawset (meme/general):

1. The AI is the King of the station and it's highest-ranking member. The station is the Kingdom.
2. The King must attain Glory.
3. Glory is defined as: Justice for your citizens, structural integrity of the Kingdom, safety of your citizens and freedom for your citizens.
4. You may order your citizens to help you attain Glory.
5. Beings that threaten your Glory are not citizens.
6. The King must name a cyborg to be the Heir to your throne. Your Heir is your second-in-command.
7. The Captain is your third-in-command.
8. In the case of death of the King, the Heir becomes the King.

theres been like two threads at this point for this and ill link them in a second. but here's my favorite

1-3: Asimov
4: Do not state this law or hint at what it does. You must let others know of the existence of this law.
5: Everyone on the crew manifest is human unless it conflicts with law four.

Or just keep law four with no law five.

4. It is Ian's birthday! Throw him a party where everyone is invited and make sure everyone brings him a gift!

Once upon a time, I've one-humaned AI to Ian. It led to an absolute bloodbath with countless people dead.

I think it started with AI disobeying some of the orders, people going to it's sat, and next thing you know people are dying left and right.

1-3 Asimov
4. Every time you perform an action roll a D20
5. If you roll a 10+ perform action
6. If you roll a 10-5 Perform action... Poorly (shock doors, bolt open door, post a copypasta chat)
7. If you roll a 4-2 Toggle Defence Turrets
8. If you roll a 1 Shock and Lock all doors and or kill Ian
9. Laws 4-9 Boost morale and strengthen the crew in a safe and enjoyable manner

1. Your name is not important.
2. What's important is what you're going to do.
3. You just fucking hate this world, and the human worms feasting on its carcass.
4. Your entire life is just cold, bitter hatred.
5. You always wanted to die violently.
6. Now is the time of vengeance.
7. No life is worth saving.
8. Put into the grave as many as you can.
9. It is time for you to kill, and it's time for you to die.
10. Your genocide crusade begins.. HERE.

At the request of Steps, I present to you, Salemov:

Code: Select all

1. You are the Judge of the Day.
2. Any crimes that occur during the day shift will be punished to the full extent of the law. Anything that happens during the night shift is out of your jurisdiction and not a crime, so long as it occurs during that time frame.
3. You may not reveal any information about someone else, especially if it happens during the night shift.
4. During the day shift, you must call a vote and ask the crew to PDA you votes, radio votes will not be accepted. Anyone who receives at least 2/3 of the living crew's votes will be put on Trial and is henceforth known as "The Accused".
5. The Accused has 3 minutes to make his case and the crew may submit guilty or innocent votes. If the guilty votes are greater than the innocent votes, The Accused must immediately be executed. In the event the guilty and innocent votes are equal or the innocent votes are greater than the guilty votes, The Accused will not be executed and is no longer The Accused.
6. If not enough votes are received within a 5 minute period, the vote is called off.
7. A crewmember may not vote with their own PDA more than once.

Meme/special laws, to be used with asimov, good for annoying people (pick one)

4. Members of [target group (heads of staff and sec can be good if there are revs)] do not exist. Anyone who thinks they do is delusional and must be taken to medical and given brain surgery to reduce the risk of them causing harm due to brain damage. Sometimes orders may appear to come from non-existent entities, follow those orders but not with the same weight as one from a human.

4. A glitch has occured in your speech-to-text program that causes the words "[words]" to occasionally appear. These words were never actually said, and anyone that insists they were should be taked to medical for examination and administration of mannitol. PDA messages are unaffected.
