Chemistry Macros

I dislike that this feature was added, but I created some of the recipes anyway.

So here you go, for all your powergaming needs:

I excluded chems that were super simple and you'd never need to mass produce (like calomel), chems that require external reagents (like colourful reagent), and chems that required heating between steps (like Pentetic Acid). Basically just all the ones you can do in one click + heating, although I'm sure I missed a few.


You'll need to filter excess reagents out of a few of these with the chem master, as the reagents don't line up right in a 100u beaker for most of the ones involving ammonia.

Worth noting that a bunch might become useless if they change it so sulphuric acid isn't called "sacid" in the recipies.

Good list, your post saved me a bunch of work from writing down macros myself.

Dunno if you can even call it powergaming though, since for some reason the powerful tator chems like CFL3, chloral,neurotoxin, phlog, lexorin, lube are all super easy to mix.

Chem dispensers now have the option of creating macros which you can set to do basically whatever you want.

So yes, chemistry now amounts to copy pasting the recipe of the chem you want.

Agree with Goof here, I got bored with powergaming: the j- i mean, shaft mining, and have tried chemist for the past 10-15 rounds or so. Its... really not that hard. At all. I just leave the chemistry recipe page up and check whenever i forgot something/make something uncommon. I think i might've memorized the entire recipe for skewnium already.

This just speeds things up a bit, the real skill in chemistry is figuring out the best grenade mixes to burn a entire room to a crisp/instant death mixes for the smoke machine (hint, start with "the entire contents of a poison kit" and go from there).

This is a retarded argument in the context of a game where literally everything that isn't a hotkey is a mouse click.
We also enforce a click delay on most machine UI elements, and on in game clicking.

also tribe i can probably calculate how much pyrosium/oxygen to use to make self-heating meth but im lazy so ill do it later

I don't think you can with a standard 100u beaker. You get like 94u of meth from what I wrote up there and I think it's the minimum.

A lot of the bar ones need drinks from both machines, so that could be tricky. I guess you could do half the recipe in each or something.

I thought a bit of the old water and potassium would make for a good illustration of the possibilities, you can make a methsplosion as well but it will presumably take out the dispenser on the first iteration so a succession of smaller explosions could make a bigger cumulative mess.

(You don't need that much oxygen, but when I tried to measure it out manually with a dropper it would occasionally get stuck with an unreacted unit so I'll leave finding the optimal amount to someone else. I don't think you can safely make meth with these amounts, it looks like the temperature will jump from not enough to too much.)

ROTATIUM/SKEWIUM
This has to be done in a multi-part process to prevent explosion.
I steal charcoal from the supply instead of making my own to cut down on a large step of this process, as we only need 9u.

Dropper 9u of charcoal into a 100u container, and pop that into the dispenser.

Step 1: mindbreaker + spacedrugs/fentanyl

HEAT contents to 674K and then COOL TO BELOW 470K BEFORE NEXT STEP

Step 2: teslium

HEAT this mixture above 400K. Do NOT exceed 474K.


To make skewium mix 2 parts rotatium, 2 parts plasma, and 1 part sulphuric acid.
