Tl;dr: We're adding a jukebox to the bar, but aren't allowed legally to code music into the game files, so we're gonna host it server side. These songs will also apply to the disco dance machine.

We need suggestions on what songs to put in it, so suggest songs here.

This is really unfortunate, can we abuse the browser even harder to handle this somehow?

I still support replacing individual track selection with a style selector that shuffle plays that theme of track (jazz, dance, etc)

I think some people are forgetting this is a jukebox for the bar and not a soundtrack for the server, the last thing you want is to hear an ear piercing intro every time you walk past the bar or god forbid you're the chef and have to put up with the same intense electronic music all round, every round. It will get old very fast, I guarantee you.

The standard selection for music should only be easy listening/jazzy, with more intense music only being available through hacking/e-magging to somewhat limit how often it's going to be played

Yeah, basically. "Easy listening" is for call center hold lines and QVC.

I was making a point about the style rather than necessarily suggesting the actual songs

The thing about "sterile" music as you put it is that it doesn't stand out, it's musical wallpaper and therefore far less irritating to listen to constantly compared to something more intense and complex.
You can still find a happy medium between boring and obnoxious, but it's something that needs to be taken into consideration rather than just throwing a bunch of random tracks on the server, cause you better believe hearing the same ear-piercing 5 seconds intro of the same song 50 times a day is going to get on your nerves no matter how much you like that song.
