don't forget putting mousetraps fucking everywhere just to add insult to injury

for extra flair put a grenade in the box with the disk and a mousetrap signaler. Sure you might have to grab the pinpointer and go disk-hunting when it goes boom but the image of the ops searching through a pile of bullshit and tossing empty wallets everywhere only for their prize to get blown the fuck up as soon as they find it is too good

Even better leave the locker in a room full of welded, ID locked lockers, all of the ones that don't have the disk in them have mousetrap triggered maxcaps

Can't you either place it in your backpack, or place it on the floor, and click-drag the Medkit onto your character to open it up?

My question is why can't Atmo Techs place Firesuits in their backpacks anymore?

I know it was removed a while ago but I can't recall the reason.

It kinda depreciates the Atmo Firesuit, why bother with it when the Atmo Hardsuit does the same thing but is also fully space worthy? If the Atmo Firesuits could be placed in your backpack at least it would be a good reason to use them over the Hardsuit.

Because firesuits can be found in public fire lockers as well, and everyone would grab and keep one in the backpack in case of fire if they were small enough to fit

I don't think so, shotgun darts can't. R&D can make Piercing Syringes presumably for exactly that purpose.

How exactly do Health Sensors work? Can they be used to make dead man's switches?

I'm pretty certain syringes will puncture everything except Hardsuits, bio suits and fire suits. Also I think Riot Shields have a RNG chance to block them as well.

A health sensor will monitor the bearer's health and trigger when they go into crit or die. The former is the default setting, you can toggle between the two by using a multitool on it.

I like to make synthflesh and epinephrine smoke grenades by applying a health sensor/igniter assembly to a grenade casing, when I hand these out a large proportion of the recipients will tell me later how it saved them and in the event of mass casualties you can heal a bunch of them at once by standing in the middle of the carnage and bashing your head in.
A grenade manufactured in this way will start off deactivated; so if you make one don't forget to trigger it, to bring up the sensor readout, and switch it on from there.

The igniter part is the one I had trouble with, that makes sense now.

They're abductor power cells with infinite power. You can only get them by getting lucky with the experimentor machine in science as far as I know.

I've heard you can get them from the experimentor via the irradiate function from OOC, but I've yet to actually acquire anything of note from the experimentor.

At best you can 'discover' strange objects and maybe get a level 5 research in a random field, but I've yet to actually get anything from testing any other objects outside of them exploding.

Should be the same as a bluespace power cell.

As I understand it, they function like a mix between bluespace cells and yellow slime cores.

>3 66/30 plasma/oxy canisters burned and pumped into an empty canister, let it cook till done
>800u lowest possible oxy temp in an oxy tank then max pressure fill the rest with normal plasma (about 1870 kpa total)
>50u normal plasma in plasma tank then fill up to 1012u with superheated gas

is this correct or am i doing something wrong?

edit: also, is the xenobio guide on the wiki up to date?

You don't even need to upgrade the heater.

1. Connect oxygen to freezer- You will need two oxygen canisters in order to make six maxcaps.
2. Set it to -181 C, or about 90 kelvin.
3. Disconnect the oxygen canister, put a new one on.
4. (Optional) Pipe the oxygen into one big canister.
5. Wrench up the pipes connecting to the freezer, decon the freezer and screwdriver the board to make it a heater. Put everything back together.
6. Attach one plasma canister to it, max it out. Wait until it gets to about 299 C.
7. While you're waiting on the plasma, take 6 each of plasma and oxygen tanks and drain them all at a portable pumps.
8. Fill them with their respective gas, then put them on the tank transfer valve. Five minute maxcaps.

You "OD" on coffee at 80u and it looks like it just makes you shake.

The only other non-drugs/medicine I could find that you could OD on were sugar at 200u, godsblood at 150, and spraytan at 11.

how the fuck do you get out of the clown ruins in lavaland? neither of the chutes lead out and all i can think of is using the bluespace peel and praying to rngesus. am i missing something?

also, cant you get weapons 7 in-house (i.e. not leaving sci)? once i get up through phazon torso/piercing syringe what do i do next? iirc it has to do with the medbeam gun but i cant unlock it with that much. does it require laz or can i work on it?

I think I used to know this, but I forgot; how does the Chaplain sanctify tiles with holy water?

Speaking of, I can never quite get the hang of how grenades work; say I want to make some flavour of holy hand grenade that spreads holy water over all tiles in radius; how would that work? (I know how to make a holy explosion, and do so at every opportunity)

Also, if you want a literal holy hand grenade, add potassium and holy water to the grenade, it causes an explosion, reveals revenants, and sets cultists on fire!
