Robotics Simulator VR

Hey all,

I'm new to the forums so I apologize if this isn't the place to post this, but I just wanted to share a small hobby project I've been working on:

ROBOTICS SIMULATOR VR

This isn't a SS13 remake, I just thought it would be fun to work something SS13 related on while I was learning VR development.

I didn't see the assistant come suicide with his head in a box, completely unrealistic were you even trying?

This makes me want to go down a dark maint tunnel only to hear a soft honk behind you - then you have to physically turn around while fumbling for the flashlight on your belt only to see a looming clown with an armblade staring you down

Hope you/someone keeps working on it!

Thanks man. Fun fact about the whoosh sound effect: it's actually the punch_miss sound effect from SS13 tweaked slightly.

I made it my goal for all the sound to use the original SS13 audio, or variations of it. My favorite example of this has to be the sound that plays when a clothy object collides with the environment: I couldn't find anything clothy sounding so I modified and used the mouse squeak; the end result is that anything soft sounds like a squeak toy when you throw it against a wall.

Bullshit, this is more ss13 remake then any of the previous attempts.

This will succeed because it is not a ss13 remake. This is the chosen one, the one to break the curse.

Also this is the perfect setup for a singleplayer room defense game. Station progressively gets fucked up and various antagonists will come at certain points trying to get in. Or one of those games where you need to explore and complete puzzles while avoiding a monster.

Could be done for several types of depts as well, with several takes on what their whole end goal attempts to be whether survival or just cargo shitting out a million points to arm every single person to come by with a shotgun and bulletproof vest.

-HoP in immigration checkpoint for once, actually dealing with the slew of assistants and other vagrants passing through. Obvious Papers, Please reference complete with a clown or Op agent obviously trying to sneak through with a new replacement ID.
-Captain in the bridge would have to hit ALL the console buttons and try to keep everything from exploding (at once).
This is shit just off the top of my head.

Good VR stuff. You said not ss13 but are nonetheless providing a possible light in many a dark tunnels and kudos to you for it.
