they suck a lot, they are filled with game breaking bugs no one will ever fix and ruin the round in the most boring way
if you want to grief players on extended just press meteors/all traitors/anime mode

admins, stop trying to make people have fun.

Maybe they wouldn't be filled with bugs if fucking powergamers hadn't ruined them, making them no longer playable without admins.

Ahh, I have good memories of a wizard den that admins kept spawning a new player into as a wizard each time the last died.
I raided that as a blobbernaut with a scientist turned doctor with the staff of alphecius and the Captain. Wizard couldn't manage to do enough damage to anyone at a time to keep them down and we all did a nice tactical retreat through the hallways as the wizard harrassed us from afar with fireballs, while I covered their escape.

I actually really like away missions because of that one and another Iceland one.

I've never actually been in a round with a 'bad' away mission. It always had a positive experience on everyone's overall enjoyment.
