It's just the popluation. Higher population = more antags = faster rounds = less roleplay = higher chance to get randomly murdered = gotta play 2 win.

If you really value this playstyle you can play on badger, I like playing both ways though, as both an aggressive antag dunker during normal hours, and a well-mannered lawyer at later hours.

PST, for me

50 player mid-afternoon is a very diff. scene from 30-50 late-night. It's like all the illiterate griefer shits come out in the early afternoon.

California here, server pop peaks in the afternoon (4-6 PM) at around 80 people for me and dips to sometimes 30 people around maybe 10 or 11 PM. High population games are usually okay at best. The quality of the server population really picks up around 1 or 2 AM though because that's when Reed Glover usually plays
reed is love
reed is life

While I can't tell for player quality, I can tell that when the server population ranges from around 20 to 40 that not only is the amount of antagonists generally very low, but the round times are very long and often uneventful. Two hour rounds are the norm with three or so traitors.

The best time to play is precisely 3:57 PM UTC +02:00

The worst time to play is exactly 9:22 AM UTC -10:00

This is science.

If I counted the number of times I've had to respond to ahelps in different given timezones. Anything from about 3pm PST until about 9pm is pretty awful. The night crew after that is pretty chill though.

Weekends are cancer.

Oh boy 2012 what a fine time, the shit that started there when the server died forever and TLE stopped hosting and all that jazz.

2011 is the place to be mate.

Tend to end up with permabans as they don't speak english in-game or speak english to the admins when PMed.

They also ALWAYS come in pairs, Russians sometimes with two or three.
