If there's one piece of knowledge that should give you peace, it's that /tg/station's population of transsexual scripters is not intelligent enough to develop in a non-scripting language (nor do they have the motivation to learn - I hear taking testosterone blockers destroys your energy levels. ) So you don't need to worry about them following everyone to SS14.

people were affected by the terms "nigger" and "faggot" but got over it since they realize it wasn't worth the trouble spending your energy managing other people's language like that, at least over the internet behind relatively-anonymous users. tranny is a relatively new/mainstream slur so we just gotta deal with it until the people who are affected by this slur get used to it like everyone else.

It's not really about the slur, it's more about the people using it specifically to hurt others. I don't give a shit about 5 letters in a certain order, but if banning that will cause the dregs of society to fuck off, yes please.
