tg (and ss13 as a whole) is a monstrosity with no coherent direction or purpose. Ironically those who contribute (features) only serve to further shit up the game (yes me). But he's right. /tg/ is simple and accessible, any potential difficulty stems from department/job mechanics you don't even need to touch. Now, that's very much unlike say, CEV-Eris, which is mechanically dense and you really need to learn new things if you are to succeed.
