Every time a nerf PR exists...someone talks about the bar.. and the fun of RPing.

What is in the bar that has brainwashed ye into RPING so much?

Why does every nerf coder like bar rping?

Do the headmins know about this? Are the head maintainers trying to promote a station with nothing except the bar, and medical across from it when you die from alcohol intoxication?

also you could put the entirety of your 300 page long character backstory into mafia cargo crate nicknames so there was functionality for your flavour text

naturally to test it the first thing I did was nickname my character “nword x 200”

bar rp and court rp are the two most thrown around rp scenarios yet tend to be the most boring.

I have never seen a court case that was boring seriously they're all so chaotic and fall apart quickly it's perfect

everyone is fucking talking at once in the bar and needs to shut up at least that's what the courtroom has a gavel for the bar is the place I go to grab 400u of coffee the courtroom is the fun time room if I want to have personal talks with someone I'll go somewhere more private than the bar where it's impossible to tell who is talking to who

I personally only take the mentality of "push myself to the limit for long periods so I can get a really short good experience" to a very select set of instances.

RP, especially CourtRP, is not one of them.

Anyone 'member when the /tg/ in /tg/station stood for traditional games a subset of which is role-playing games and the server was exclusively advertised via word of mouth and the occasional thread on the traditional games board, and people just rp'd because it was something the player base as whole simply enjoyed doing and set out to do in the first place and didn't need to be coerced or incentivized to do?

Not so much anymore most meta insuls got removed except for abandoned tele and tech storage and vendors. Delta still has a gorillion insuls in maint

I suspect that some /tg/ players have an internal brain filter that replaces mentions of roleplay in any context with 'bar rp'
